We have been waiting and waiting for Aubryn's front tooth to fall out... since it's been hanging by a thread for over a week now. We had good news to report today that it fell out last night! We had told her that her tooth was no longer living, that it had died, was turning brown and needed to be pulled (trying to convince her to go ahead with the job.) She replied, "So it's dying to come out?" Isn't it funny how humorous children can be? Anyway, on our grocery trip to Wal-Mart last night, all three kids were in a basket either tickling or wrestling each other when all of a sudden Aubryn stopped and yelled out, "Wait, my tooth!" Sure enough, it was gone. We had to look around on the floor at Wal-Mart to find her tooth. Of course she claims that Keirah knocked it out!! Here is a few pictures of her cute toothless smile... and of course, Leif and Keirah wanted to show off their teeth too.

Parent/Child Dedication
We had our Parent/Child Dedication on Mother's Day last Sunday where we dedicated ourselves and Leif to the Lord. It was a special time for our family, getting to experience that with the body of believers that we have grown to love so very much. The girls were with us as we reflected on the fact that we pray for all of our children to know and serve the Lord faithfully all the days of their lives. We specifically prayed and spoke over Leif Luke 2:52, "May you grow in wisdom, and in stature and in favor with God and man." Lord, will you use us as parents to shepherd our children into a vibrant, growing relationship with you. May our children love and fear you and raise up their children to do the same.
Soccer and Chocolate
When we weren't doing "Wedding" we had a lot of other events going on a couple of weekends ago. I had to add these pics to show some of Aubryn's soccer skills! She had a game the Saturday before the wedding and had quite the fan base there. There is nothing like coming home from a soccer game to dip strawberries in chocolate (for the wedding) and then use the extra for a dipping party outside. We tried not to let Hunny know about the mess we were making!! We did get all that chocolate out of our shirts too... just in case you were worried.

Casey and Tiffany's Wedding
Casey, Nick's brother, was married last weekend on May 4th at the Casswell House in Austin. We hosted all of Nick's family here and had other friends and family here as well. It was a busy weekend, but so much fun! Here are the wedding pics that I have so far and there will be more to come.

A Weekend On The Farm
A couple of weekends ago I traveled to Mom and Dad's for a visit to the farm. We are always excited to see family and the kids especially love riding four wheelers and horses with them! Kanyon and Erika spent the weekend at home as well and we ended up bringing home a 12 week black lab puppy. Our family is officially closed to anymore animals at this point! She's been a joy though and we call her "Daddy's dog". Here is a few pics from the weekend.
What's New In The Shock Family
So, I realize that I'm pretty bad at this blog thing. I haven't posted since January and now it's May, we've been to Aspen CO over Spring Break, we have a baby half-way here (I'm almost 22 weeks!), Nick's brother is married, and we are heading into summer. There is more to update on that I even know how to tell, so I'm just going to start posting pictures. That's what you all want to see anyway... right :)
